Sarv, The Culture School offers ongoing programs for children and adults in music, art, and cultural education. Classes are held weekly or in session-based formats and are led by experienced instructors in a supportive, creative environment. Enrollment is open to participants of all skill levels, and class placement is based on age and experience where applicable.

Children’s History, Art & Culture Program

Iranian Culture & Arts

Sarv School’s Children’s History, Art & Culture Program offers weekly one-hour group classes where children explore the richness of Iranian culture through storytelling, games, visual arts, and performance. Led by Nazanin Aygani, an experienced art educator and scholar, the program introduces children to history and heritage in an engaging, age-appropriate, and creative environment.

Each session combines cultural learning with hands-on artmaking, allowing students to transform what they learn into paintings or sculptures inspired by the day’s theme.

 

Session Times

  • Mondays | 5:00–6:00 PM (Children under 10)

  • Thursdays | 4:30–5:30 PM (Ages 10 and above)

  • Thursdays | 5:30–6:30 PM (Children under 10)

Cultural Exploration Through Story and Art
Children engage with Iranian heritage through imaginative storytelling, interactive discussions, and creative projects.

Creative Expression
At the end of each session, students create a visual artwork inspired by the lesson, encouraging self-expression, creativity, and a lasting connection to cultural knowledge.
